Skylar Diggins-Smith's Electrifying Run-In With Caitlin Clark Is Turning Heads

There is a lot of buzz surrounding the Indiana Fever's victory over the Seattle Storm Sunday night after Caitlin Clark had a controversial encounter with Skylar Diggins-Smith and the Storm bench.

In the closing minutes of the game, Clark decided to fire up the crowd. However, she chose to do it directly in front of the Seattle bench, which then caused Diggins-Smith, who was walking off the floor, to blatantly speed walk into Clark, which definitely turned some heads since Sunday night.

Barstool Sports CEO Dave Portnoy's post on the matter surpassed 250,000 views in a 20-minute span of being posted. The video has surfaced on the internet. Some siding with Diggins-Smith, and the majority siding with Caitlin Clark.

That wasn't all the drama, though. Many believe the Storm pulled their starters with the hope the Fever would pull Clark so she wouldn't be able to reach the double-digit assist record in three straight games. Clark finished with nine.

It was an emotional game from both sides. Clark, however, did break the WNBA rookie assist record, and it was a back-and-forth battle until the final five or so minutes until the Fever pulled away.

Now, Indiana sits in 7th place in the WNBA and is in sole position of a playoff spot after winning four out of their last five games. With 12 games remaining, the Fever are heating up at the right time.
