Bills Injury List Grows for 2024 Starters

Things aren't going so well for the Buffalo Bills on the injury front.

Last week the team lost All-Pro linebacker Matt Milano to a torn biceps. In Saturday's 9-3 preseason win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, a few more injuries hit the roster.

First, it was Mitch Trubisky going down with a knee injury and then Marquez Valdes-Scantling with a neck injury. Later on, wide receiver Curtis Samuel and safety Damar Hamlin suffered their own injuries as well.

In the case of a potential return, Samuel and Hamlin are week-to-week while Trubisky and Valdes-Scantling are expected to be out for multiple weeks.

None of this is really good news for a Bills roster that has gone through major transformations as an entire roster. All-Pro players like Jordan Poyer, Tre'Davious White, and receiver Stefon  Diggs are all on new teams for the 2024 season.

With less top talent on the roster, the Bills need to find a way to produce younger and cheaper talent across the board.

The problem is that the younger talent currently isn't healthy right now.

The more injuries Buffalo sustains at this point, the worse of a chance they have to repeat as AFC East champions for the fifth straight year.
