Field Yates Reveals The Top QB For Fantasy Football This Season

ESPN's Fantasy Football expert Field Yates released who he believes the number one quarterback selected in your fantasy football drafts should be this season after appearing on First Take Tuesday morning.

Yates was quick to state that Buffalo Bills superstar Josh Allen should be the first quarterback taken off the board in fantasy, and he projects him with a 4th round grade but could slip even further in many fantasy drafts.

Allen has been the number one point scorer in three out of the last four fantasy seasons. Despite losing Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis , Allen still uses his legs at high volume, which generates the bulk of his fantasy success. He rushed for 15 touchdowns in 2023. He also threw for 29 touchdowns. He accounted for 44 touchdowns last season.

Not to mention, he still does have weapons around him, many of which are just more unknown. Tight end Dalton Kincaid could be an extremely high-usage player for Allen to target, and he has elite red zone skill. As well as rookie Keon Coleman , Khalil Shakir , and newcomers Curtis Samuel , Mack Hollins, and Marquez Valdes-Scantling.
