LeBron James Announces 'NFL Offer' to Kevin Hart

After years of speculation about whether LeBron James could play in today's NFL, the 39-year-old basketball icon finally has his offer. Well, sort of.

On Monday, August 19, Awful Announcing shared video of LeBron's first-ever TV commercial with DraftKings. The 30-second clip begins with James checking his phone and telling comedian Kevin Hart he "just got an NFL offer."

In reality, the offer is intended for new DraftKings customers who can earn $200 in instant bonus bets when they bet $5 of their own.

Immediately, Hart started to brutally roast his co-star and friend.

"Don't play with me," Hart began. "Aren't you a little too old to be playing football? They want somebody that can run a 40, not somebody that is 40. When the coach calls your number you're going to say 'G56, Bingo!'

"How you gonna celebrate a win? You gonna give everybody butterscotch candy? Probably out of your pocket with no wrappers on it. Just gonna give them raw candy. That's nasty."

The 6-foot-9, 250-pound Los Angeles Lakers star and DraftKings first announced the football partnership in a January 31 social media post .

The sports betting giant has three different ad spots planned with James, who is fresh off winning his third career Olympic gold medal in Paris.
