John Calipari's Highly-Anticipated Return To Rupp Arena Unveiled

Longtime Kentucky coach John Calipari has had one of the most thrilling yet stressful off-seasons in recent memory. He went through a whirlwind with Kentucky about whether or not he would be back, then ultimately parted ways and was hired by SEC rival Arkansas to be the next head coach for the Razorbacks.

Well now, the return to Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky, has been noted and dated. Calipari will return to face his former team on Saturday, February 1st, According to Jeff Goodman .

It will be a day of honor and respect for all that Calipari has accomplished with the Big Blue Nation, but when it comes to SEC basketball in the winter, things get serious, and expect the atmosphere to be rocking.

Calipari had to put together a team from scratch but still managed to assemble an extremely talented roster , while former BYU coach Mark Pope will lead the Wildcats into the next era of Kentucky basketball.
