Dan Mullen Releases ACC Predicted Order Of Finish For 2024 Season

Former Mississippi State and Florida head coach, and current ESPN analyst, Dan Mullen has released his official picks for the ACC ahead of the 2024 college football season.

Excitement has permeated up and down both coasts this time around as ACC fans anticipate the first 17-team football season for the league, featuring SMU, Stanford and California as new members of the conference. So below, you can see Mullen's full 1-17 ACC standings projections.

Where's California? Coach Mullen managed to remember SMU and Stanford as part of the new-look ACC, but the poor Golden Bears were omitted from the predictions entirely. Oh well, he's not the first college football fan to have a slip of mind when it comes to the new realignment.

As for his predictions, Mullen has Clemson bouncing back from a couple less-than-standard years for Dabo Swinney to reclaim their rightful throne atop the ACC, even fending off the new competitors. Meanwhile, Florida State follows up last year's title with a second-place finish.
