Anthony Edwards Makes Bold Declaration About 2028 Olympics After Winning Gold In Paris

After an iconic showing for Team USA at the Paris Olympics alongside Devin Booker , Anthony Edwards made a very bold admission ahead of the 2028 Olympics taking place in Los Angeles, with Booker recording it.

"Me and Book are running the show in LA [the 2028 Olympics]." Edwards said.

Despite LeBron James , Stephen Curry , and Kevin Durant leading the way, Edwards and Booker showed immense promise and contributed a great deal to the success the team had.

Booker was a consistent starter and bought into an unusual role for him. He played off-ball, guarded, and played team defense alongside the others. Head coach Steve Kerr had extremely high praise for Booker.

“He was incredible this entire run. Just what he does, play to play to play. He completely changed his role from the NBA to now. He was kind of our unsung MVP.” Kerr said.

Booker is well-known for recording throughout the season and likes to collaborate and capture the highlights throughout his NBA journey, and caught a great one when celebrating the gold medal with the Timberwolves star.

Edwards, on the other hand, showed he was built for the bright lights. It doesn't matter that he was the youngest player on the team. His contributions off the bench were extremely valuable, and for the bulk of the Olympics he led the team in scoring. He finished his showing in Paris averaging 12.8 points (4th most), 2.8 rebounds, and 1.2 assists.

Now, him and Booker look to lead the way in 2028 when the Olympics takes place in Los Angeles with extremely high expectations.
