Nick 'Wrong?' FS1 Host Gives Odd Reason to Bash Eagles, Jalen Hurts

Philadelphia Eagles franchise quarterback Jalen Hurts has yet to throw an interception at this point of training camp.

While most people will see that as a positive overall that Philadelphia's turnover problems are nearing their end, not every analyst is high on Hurts to begin with.

Nick Wright, the eccentric host of FS1's First Things First, hasn't been impressed with Hurts overall and isn't high on his upcoming season either.

"Right now, if I had to make a bet, I would bet 2022 was an aberration," Wright said. "I don't expect Jalen Hurts to be able to do that again."

Hurts has thrown over 300 passes without an interception to this point of camp. Wright has expected more chances to be taken overall by Philadelphia's quarterback.

"I know it sounds absurd, and it sounds like I'm picking on guys, I don't mean it," Wright said. "It's too few. I need a little bit in training camp of, 'Oh, I took a chance there.' It either means, in my opinion, either that you are being a little too cautious or this horrendous back seven from last year somehow's got worse."

Hurts has excelled in preseason action to this point. While some analysts believe he's on the path to a successful season, Nick Wright appears to be one who thinks less of Hurts to this point.
