The Boston Red Sox (66-59) enter Wednesday looking for a win over the Houston Astros (68-57) to win the series and build momentum heading into the weekend.

The Astros will counter with Justin Verlander (3-2, 3.95 ERA). In his last start, Verlander allowed four earned runs on seven hits and no walks while striking out three in five innings. Wednesday will mark Verlander's first start against the Red Sox this season.

Verlander will make his return from the injured list on Wednesday. His last start came on June 9th.

Here is how the Astros will line up on Wednesday:

    1.) DH Alex Bregman
    2.) LF Yordan Alvarez
    3.) 1B Yainer Diaz
    4.) SS Jeremy Pena
