With 10 days Until Their Own Private Idaho, the Ducks Take a Long Drive in Practice

Before you invite a group of Vandals into your home, you've got to make sure you've theft-proofed the living room.

Ducks wrapped up fall camp today with their 17th and final practice before moving to a game week pattern, ending the session with an emphasis on sustaining drives and stacking up positive plays.

Dan Lanning met the press afterward and said, "A really good day, I thought, from our guys. We finished practice off with a long drive period where you have to have an extended drive and play multiple plays in a row and still be able to execute. So, I'm anxious to see the film to see what that looks like."

The third-year head coach indicated he's encouraged but not satisfied.  "We're taking steps. There hasn't been a day where we come out here and I didn't feel like our guys wanted to work, so I appreciate that," he said.

Running back Jordan James missed the workout but the coach insisted the move was merely precautionary.
