New York Liberty guard Sabrina Ionescu is playing a vital role on the best team in the WNBA this season, alongside superstar Breanna Stewart , and it's paved the way for making her an internet sensation.

A neck injury sidelined Ionescu Tuesday night in a win over the Dallas Wings , but her season in its entirety has been exceptional, and she has a gold medal to go along with it after an epic showing in Paris. She is currently averaging 19.9 points, 6.0 assists, and 4.4 rebounds per game for New York.

The Liberty have the best record in the league and are currently the only team that has clinched a playoff spot with 10+ games remaining. So why not take the time to do a late-night interview?

Ionescu will be appearing on Late Night with Seth Myers Wednesday night, or technically Thursday morning. The show airs at 12:35 AM eastern time and will also have iconic actor Channing Tatum on at some point during the segment.
