Tyrese Haliburton's Loses Olympic Battle to Bottle

After Team USA won the gold medal over France, it was only fitting that the players popped champagne bottles to celebrate, especially as they were in the best region to enjoy such a celebratory beverage. However, of the seven NBA champions on Team USA's roster, the one holding the bottle never experienced a champagne shower following an NBA Finals victory.

Tyrese Haliburton, unfortunately given a DNP during the gold medal game vs. France, had the quicker access to the locker room. The Indiana Pacers guard went for a champagne bottle. However, due to the lack of NBA championship experience or possibly any drinking experience dealing with a cork, Haliburton struggled to open the bottle.

Heading into his 10th NBA season without an NBA champion ring, Devin Booker taunted Haliburton with, "You know what to do with that?"

Haliburton couldn't help but smile as he won his first gold medal and experienced a championship. Although it's not an NBA Finals, Haliburton sacrificed his summer and ego for such an honor.

While Booker's teasing may seem a little much, Haliburton confirmed the Phoenix Suns star's doubts about his ability to open a champagne bottle.

Haliburton let out a "Hell no! Not a clue" as he held the bottle.

The Pacers All-Star point guard perhaps could pop champagne if the Pacers finish the job in the 2025 Eastern Conference Finals. However, they must surpass the Boston Celtics, Philadelphia 76ers, New York Knicks, and the Milwaukee Bucks.

Hopefully, someone tells Haliburton to point the cork away from anyone's face.
