One WNBA Player’s Pregame Outfit Went Viral This Week

It looks like the Los Angeles Sparks have a new style icon while resident fashionista Cameron Brink is recovering from an ACL injury that required surgery.

On Tuesday ahead of their showdown with the Connecticut Sun, Sparks rookie Rickea Jackson turned a lot of heads and quickly went viral due to her pregame outfit. The 23-year-old forward sported a white shirt from True Religion, along with a mini denim skirt.

What stood out from Jackson's wardrobe choice, however, was her knee-high red boots. In fact, when the Sparks posted a photo of Jackson showing off her attire, they captioned it, "A pop of red."

Rickea Jackson's attire drew plenty of reactions, with many fans simply expressing how much they loved it.

"I love those boots! Red is an awesome choice!" a fan commented on LA's post on X (formerly Twitter). Another one exclaimed, "SupaStar!!!"

"Best dressed rookie!" a social media user added. A commenter furthered, "Every brand needs to make sure she never runs out of mini skirts and boots."

"Now this is a fit," a fifth fan noted.

The Sparks' post about Rickea Jackson's fit has been viewed over 65,000 times and liked over 4,000 times, along with over a hundred retweets. Another photo of the rookie's outfit by I Talk Hoops has even generated over 340,000 views.

While the Sparks eventually lost to the Sun in the contest, 69-62, Jackson also impressed with a team-high 14 points along with six rebounds. That said, the first-year LA star definitely made quite the statement on and off the court.
