Caitlin Clark Captures Hearts After Spending Day At Children's Hospital

Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark doesn't get enough credit for her heartfelt gestures, and she may have topped them all on when she took the time out of her day to visit Peyton Manning's Children's Hospital at Ascension St. Vincent in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Clark is facing the toughest stretch of her WNBA season with her team over the next month. With just 12 games remaining, the Fever are in the middle of a playoff push, yet she doesn't let that distract her from the truly meaningful things in life.

Assistant coach Tully Bevilaqua accompanied Clark to the NICU, and they made so many family and kids days, by just being there.

"We got to meet a lot of little young babies; me and Tully had a really good time with the families and their siblings, and for me, it was my first ever time in the NICU, so first for everything, and definitely won't be my last."

One family said. "So Caitlin Clark stopped by; it was the perfect going away gift to send us off tomorrow; we found out today we were going home, and just a perfect ending to a long stay."

These are the things that tug on your heartstrings and you can love her or hate her, but you cannot question these meaningful and life-changing gestures.

Tully and Caitlin brought little basketballs for the kids, signed autographs, and chatted with the families, nurses, doctors, and everyone involved in the NICU, just trying to shed some light anyway they could.
