Peyton Manning Reveals Which NFL Quarterback Was The Best ‘Beggar’

Former Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning and ex-New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady had one of the best rivalries in all of sports during their time in the league.

Every time the two went head-to-head, it was must see TV. But Brady seemed to always come out on top, winning 11 of their 17 career meetings.

Manning faced Brady so often that he built a substantial opinion on the seven-time Super Bowl winner, including one that may not sit well with some Brady fans.

In a recent interview on " The Stephen A. Smith Show ," Smith asked Manning which quarterback begged the referees for calls the most, and Manning didn't hesitate to name Brady.

"I think [Tom Brady] was pretty good at it," Manning said. "But it was kind of natural; he just kind of had this look to the guy, so it seemed to work for him."

Stephen A. then hit Manning with a follow-up question, asking, "What about current players?"

"The thing about Mahomes now, he's not a big slider," Manning continued after the crowd shouted Patrick Mahomes' name. "Patrick runs. Patrick gets his yards and he still has legs. I don't think anyone jumps out to me as much. I think Brady still takes the title right now."

While Brady defeated Manning more often than not, the former Colt actually has a winning record against Brady in the playoffs, going 3-2 against his rival. However, Brady still has a big edge over Manning in Super Bowl wins at 7-2.

Both players had tremendous careers with their initial teams, and both went on to win a Super Bowl with another team towards the end of their time in the NFL: Brady with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Manning with the Denver Broncos.
