'He Was Pretty Good At It!' Peyton Manning Names Ex Bucs QB 'Best Begger'

Former Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning had many rivals during his playing days, even going back to his college days with the Tennessee Volunteers.

Manning played for the Colts for 14 seasons and the Broncos for four, and won Super Bowls with both organizations.

His rivalries with opposing quarterbacks makes for a long list, but there's one that stands out above the rest, and Manning didn't hesitate to throw him under the bus during a recent interview.

Appearing on The Stephen A. Smith Show , Manning named the quarterback who begged referees for calls the most, and it's former Tampa Bay Buccaneers signal-caller Tom Brady.

"I think [Tom Brady] was pretty good at it," Manning said. "But it was kind of natural; he just kind of had this look to the guy, so it seemed to work for him."

Smith then pushed Manning for current players who excel at pressing officials for calls.

"The thing about Mahomes now, he's not a big slider," Manning continued. "Patrick runs. Patrick gets his yards and he still has legs. I don't think anyone jumps out to me as much. I think Brady still takes the title right now."

Brady owns the head-to-head matchup with Manning 11-6, but Manning has the edge in the postseason, 3-2. But, of course, Brady has seven Super Bowls to Manning's two.
