PFF Releases Top 10 Heisman Candidates

For the Crimson Tide, many are expecting and anticipating a much improved Jalen Milroe as the quarterback, especially with the new head coach Kalen DeBoer, who almost had a Heisman award winner in Michael Penix Jr.

Though there be many questions and unknowns for the Tide program in 2024 and beyond, we know that Milroe is devoted and committed to overcome every challenge and continue to progress and develop into the potential he obtains.

In addition, Milroe is often talked about as a top favorite for the Heisman Trophy award. On Thursday afternoon, Max Chadwick of PFF College released his Top 10 Heisman favorites for 2024 , with Milroe ranked among those who could earn the prestigious award.

Milroe currently sits within the Top 5, according to Chadwick. Many other analysts believe similarly to Chadwick, while others believe Milroe is a clear-cut frontrunner, if not right behind that.

There still needs to be a lot of proving from Milroe's end. He will need to show more consistency, arm accuracy, and decision making before we could realistically predict his Heisman odds.

But, he has positive momentum on his side. He has a talented group of players around him, one of the best head coaches in the nation, and an uncapped potential if he fully lives up to it.

Alabama's 2024 campaign officially begins next Saturday, August 31st against Western Kentucky for their season opener.
