Commanders vs. Patriots: How To Watch, Betting Odds

The Washington Commanders wrap up their preseason schedule at home on Sunday night when they host the New England Patriots. Coach Dan Quinn has already announced that starting quarterback Jayden Daniels would not start in this game, so Marcus Mariota will get the nod.

This game is mostly going to be about getting final game tape ready for the guys trying to make this team, and for the other 31 teams to watch and evaluate over the next few days as teams cut down to 53 by Tuesday.

Running backs Chris Rodriguez and Michael Wiley will get plenty of reps for that third back spot behind Brian Robinson Jr and Austin Ekeler.

One of the key battles on defense is at safety as Tyler Owens and Darrick Forrest attempt to make this Commanders squad. Both players have been praised by head coach Dan Quinn throughout camp.
