Paul FInebaum is the host of 'The Paul Finebaum Show' on ESPN Radio who is not shy about revealing his opinions to the college football world.

Finebaum laid into the Florida State football fanbase on Monday in the wake of the Seminoles' 24-21 loss at the hands of the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in Dublin, Ireland this past Saturday.

The ESPN pundit was asked by Greg McElroy of McElroy and Cubelic in the Morning if the Florida State football coaching staff was negatively affected by ACC championship expectations leading up to the Seminoles' opener.

Finebaum said he believes that FSU's coaching staff, led by Mike Norvell, was not affected at all, and instead placed blame for the loss on Florida State fans.

"You know who's to blame?" Finebaum posed to McElroy during the show on Monday.

"It's not the coaching staff, it's the Florida State fans. They acted like fools and they never stopped, even during the pregame show," Finebaum said.

"They continued to show their rear end and that's why I haven't stopped laughing."

Many Florida State fans took issue with the team's 2023-2024 College Football Playoff snub after an undefeated regular season that included a late season injury to starting quarterback Jordan Travis.

Finebaum said the FSU fanbase is now disliked and isolated.

"I don't know about you guys, you hate to be cruel like that, but this is a program that has isolated itself, that is on an island whose fanbase is disliked and disrespected," Finebaum added.

"Not only by people just walking down the street in Birmingham (Alabama), but by its own league."
