Shocking Angel Reese Stat Has Fans Crying Foul Over Caitlin Clark Being Rookie Of The Year Favorite

As the 2024 WNBA campaign enters the homestretch, the Rookie of the Year race between Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese doesn't appear to be as close as it once was, as Clark is the heavy favorite over Reese.

Both rookies are putting together strong campaigns with the Indiana Fever and Chicago Sky, respectively, and it's safe to say that they both have a case to win the award.

While Clark may be pulling away from Reese, that doesn't mean her fans are going to stop trying to aid her case. In fact, a pretty eye-opening statistic in favor of Reese recently took the internet by storm, as it was revealed that the Sky's young star is the only starting rookie that has a positive plus/minus this season.

While plus/minus isn't the most accurate statistic ever since there are four other players on the court at all times, it is eye-opening to see the positive impact Reese is having for the Sky.

And conversely, it's shocking to see that Clark, for all she has managed to do this season, has a negative plus/minus for the Fever.

This alone won't win Reese Rookie of the Year, but it's clear that while Clark is achieving quite a bit in her own right, you cannot overlook what the Sky's young center has been doing when it comes to this conversation.
