    Chicago Bears sign 14 of their roster cuts to practice squad

    The Chicago Bears have officially filled most of their practice squad.

    A day after two dozen cuts to get under the 53-man roster cap, the team brought back 14 of the players it cut.

    Those signed to the practiced squad are:

    • LB Micah Baskerville,
    • G Theo Benedet,
    • TE Stephen Carlson,
    • DT Byron Cowart,
    • OT Jake Curhan,
    • WR Collin Johnson,
    • S Quindell Johnson,
    • LB Carl Jones,
    • DE Jamree Kromah,
    • DT Dashaun Mallory,
    • S Tarvarius Moore,
    • QB Austin Reed,
    • CB Reddy Steward, and
    • CB Ro Torrence.

    Chicago still has two open spots on the practice squad (three if they sign an international player).
