Caitlin Clark Left Fans in Disbelief After Causing Collision Between Sun Players

Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever are looking for their 15th win as they take on the Connecticut Sun at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Wednesday evening. The Sun won the initial three meetings with the Fever, so Indiana will look to avoid the sweep.

During the second quarter of the game, Clark left fans amazed once again.

With 3:47 left in the half, Clark had the ball at the top of the arc. She started dribbling left with Sun guard Dijonai Carrington doing her best to defend her. As Clark made her move, Carrington collided with her teammate, Alyssa Thomas, leaving Clark wide-open to drain a three-pointer.

After Clark hit the triple, Carrington stayed down on the court in what seemed to be some pain, but she was able to walk it off and stay in the game. The made three gave the Fever a 46-42 advantage.

WNBA fans were in awe over Clark's move that led to the collision and took to social media to leave their thoughts on the highlight.

The Sun officially clinched a spot in the 2024 WNBA playoffs after their win against the New York Liberty on August 24. The Fever are sitting with the seventh seed. A win would increase their postseason chances but wouldn't affect their place in the standings.
