Kansas City Chiefs safety Justin Reid will be a free agent after this season, and the team could in a different direction in the 2025 offseason.

In a recent article by Bleacher Report , they go over each NFL team's biggest weaknesses, and they propose players that could help them. For the reigning Super Bowl champions, they think they could sign Miami Dolphins safety Jevon Holland in next year's free agency.

"Justin Reid is going to be the team's fifth-most expensive player this season, and he has to make a big impact as a safety to justify that ranking," Bleacher Report writes. "If he doesn't, the Chiefs could go shopping for an upgrade on the free-agent market. Jevon Holland has some injury concerns, but he's a younger player who has been a proven tackler with playmaking ability in Miami."

Reid is a proven veteran in the NFL, so the team will most likely have to pay him a decent amount next offseason. If they don't want to go down that route, then signing a young player like Holland could be another option.

The 24-year-old safety finished with a very solid 74 total tackles, 52 of them being solo, and he did so in just 12 games. He also had an interception, defended four passes, and forced three fumbles, therefore showing his versatility.

If the Chiefs decide they want to go in a different direction with their safety position next offseason, then signing Holland could be an intriguing option.
