Despite being one of the most beloved personalities in college football, ESPN's Kirk Herbstreit has still made a couple of enemies.

The most obvious one has to be Florida State, as Seminoles fans are still not over Herbstreit expressing that their team didn't belong in the College Football Playoff in 2023. For those who thought that they would be over it by now, the "f--- Kirk Herbstreit" chants during Week Zero's "College GameDay" every time he spoke said otherwise.

On Thursday, Herbstreit triggered another fan base with a social media post that teased the Week 1 slate, calling the North Carolina vs. Minnesota game the headliner.

His post led to many Colorado fans calling out the ESPN analyst for overlooking their matchup with FCS power North Dakota State, which is set to kick off at the same exact time.

"I'd argue the headline is NDSU vs Colorado," wrote one fan.

"I’ll be watching Colorado and ND St," added another.

"Don’t forget the Sportsman of the Year is on tonight as well," replied another fan who also posted Deion Sanders on the cover of Sports Illustrated.

Whether Herbstreit meant to troll Colorado and other fan bases, or if he loves himself some Gopher football is unknown. Regardless, college football fans all over the country are pumped for the sport to be back.

In terms of the two games that are apparently duking it out for the title of "headliner," Colorado is favored by 10.5 points, according to ESPN , while North Carolina is favored by two on the road.
