WATCH: Jalen Milroe Opens the Scoring Against Western Kentucky

Alabama is off to the races against Western Kentucky, and the Crimson Tide were the first team to strike in the game. After Keon Sabb picked off T.J. Finley to give Alabama great field position, Jalen Milroe ran it in from 12 yards out to score the first touchdown in the game.

Alabama has only run five plays on offense so far, four of which have been rushing attempts. Perhaps that's an early indicator that new head coach Kalen DeBoer wants to emphasize the run game in Tuscaloosa after leading one of the best passing attacks in the country at Washington last year.

Milroe has yet to complete a pass in the game, but reaching paydirt on the ground is hardly a shabby way to kick off the season. Stay tuned for more updates as the game between Western Kentucky and Alabama continues on Saturday evening.
