Nick Saban's Daughter Made a Post Ahead of Kalen DeBoer's Alabama Debut

Nick Saban and his family were on-site in Tuscaloosa for Alabama's opener against Western Kentucky on Saturday.

The legendary Crimson Tide head coach was joined by his wife, Terry, and his daughter, Kristen, who made a post for the occasion.

"Very demure," Kristen Saban captioned the post , which featured the three of them.

The game marked the debut of head coach Kalen DeBoer, who has large shoes to fill. He has the support of Saban as he kicks things off with the Crimson Tide.

"Kalen has done a great job in taking over this program because he's got the right disposition about him," Saban said on Saturday . "He embraced the tradition. He embraced the culture. But he put he put his own mark on how he wanted to coach the team. I'm really, really excited about what Kalen's going to do for Alabama."

Saban's tenure at Alabama, which began in 2007, is widely regarded as one of the most successful coaching careers in college football history. Over his 17 seasons with the Crimson Tide, Saban led the team to six national championships, establishing Alabama as a perennial powerhouse. His retirement in January marked the end of an era, leaving behind a program synonymous with winning and discipline.

The school announced in July that they would name the field inside of Bryant-Denny Stadium in his honor. The official dedication will be next week against South Florida.

Kristen Saban referenced "Saban Field" in another post ahead of the game.

"See you tomorrow, Saban Field," she wrote, along with a hype video.

Nick Saban might be retired from coaching football, but he's been staying busy. Prior to showing up to the game, Saban was on "College GameDay" at College Station for the matchup between Notre Dame and Texas A&M at Kyle Field.
