San Francisco 49ers star Deebo Samuel provided a positive and much-needed update on Ricky Pearsall after he was shot during a robbery on Saturday.

Shortly after the news started circulating, Samuel took to X with an update on Pearsall.

"He’s good," Samuel wrote with a praying and fingers crossed emoji. "Thank god!!!!"

London Breed, the mayor of San Francisco, provided a more in-depth update on Pearsall's situation with more details.

"This afternoon, there was an attempted robbery in Union Square involving San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Ricky Pearsall and he was shot. SFPD was on scene immediately and an arrest of the shooter was made.

"My thoughts are with Ricky and his family at this time. We will provide more updates, including on his condition, as I receive them."

Pearsall was signing autographs at Cow Palace earlier in the afternoon, per Dion Lim of KGO-TV San Francisco . She added that Pearsall is in stable condition.
