Angel Reese has been crashing the boards all season long for the Chicago Sky and hit two major milestones during a game against the Minnesota Lynx on Sunday, September 1, as a result.

Reese first broke the single-season record for most rebounds by any player with 405 boards. She literally grabbed the all-time mark away from retired WNBA star Sylvia Fowles by hauling in her sixth rebound of the game.

Later on in the contest, Reese tacked on the record for most offensive rebounds by any player in league history, passing Yolanda Griffith with 163 total for the 2024 campaign.

"Angel Reese now also has the most offensive rebounds in a single season in WNBA history," StatMamba posted to X.

Reese finished the game against the Lynx with a mind-boggling 20 rebounds , 8 of them offensive, to go along with 17 points, 3 assists and 2 steals. Unfortunately for the Sky, Reese's monster day wasn't enough to put them over the top, as the Lynx captured the victory by a score of 79-74 and handed Chicago its sixth loss in a row.

Reese still has eight regular season games remaining to add to her already historic and prolific rookie campaign, with the next opportunity coming on Tuesday, September 3, against the Las Vegas Aces in the desert.
