Angel Reese earned some big kudos from the WNBA after she shattered yet another league record.

The Chicago Sky forward has established herself as one of the league's best rebounders, already setting the all-time league record for consecutive double-doubles and most double-doubles for a rookie.

Reese took down another league record in her team's 79-74 loss to the Minnesota Lynx on September 1. The rookie entered the game just six rebounds shy of the all-time rookie rebounding record set by Sylvia Fowles in 2018 and ended up shattering the record. Reese grabbed a total of 19 rebounds in the loss, moving her to 418 total through the first 32 games of the season.

After Reese set the mark, she got some praise from the WNBA which noted her accomplishment in a post on X .

"Four Hundred and Five," the league noted in a post that was quickly out of date as Reese continued to add rebounds. "Angel Reese shatters the W's single-season rebounding record, surpassing Sylvia Fowles (404 in 2018)"

Reese said after the game that she had a feeling she would adjust quickly to the WNBA game.

"Coming into [the WNBA] I just knew my motor," Reese said, via ESPN . "Offensive rebounds and defensive rebounds is something that I know I can always do. I knew it was going to translate right away."
