Fournette, 29, was released by the Bills on January 16, 2024, after a brief stint with the team that included multiple practice squad elevations. He was initially signed by Buffalo on October 31, 2023, and saw limited action, totaling 12 rushing attempts for 40 yards during his short tenure with the team. Despite his minimal impact last season, Fournette remains hopeful for another opportunity in the league.

A former first-round pick of the Jacksonville Jaguars, Fournette has played seven seasons in the NFL, contributing to the Jaguars, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Bills. Over his career, he has amassed 4,518 rushing yards on 1,144 carries and 2,219 receiving yards on 312 catches, with a total of 41 touchdowns. His most notable achievement came with the Buccaneers, where he played a key role in their Super Bowl LV victory.

While the Colts have yet to indicate if they will sign Fournette, his visit suggests a potential interest in bolstering their backfield depth.

Bills fans will remember Fournette’s brief stint with the team and his efforts to contribute during a challenging period. As he looks for his next opportunity, Fournette's visit to Indianapolis marks another chapter in his pursuit of continuing his NFL journey.
