The SEC has several top quarterbacks and many of them are off to fantastic starts to the 2024 college football season.

It's more than just statistics that matter when defining which quarterback deserves the honor as having the best day of any SEC passer. Ask LSU signal-caller Garrett Nussmeier .

He's not likely to say positive things because Southern California beat the Bayou Bengals 27-20 stemming from a Woody Marks 13-yard touchdown run with eight seconds remaining in the fourth quarter. Nussmeier should still be happy about his performance, as should several other quarterbacks.

Tennessee, Georgia, Ole Miss, Auburn, Kentucky, Alabama, and even Vanderbilt are some other SEC schools with elite quarterback play, or at least good performances.

You decide, which SEC quarterback had the best opening performance of the season?
