Jam Miller and Keon Sabb Named Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week

Plenty of Alabama players had standout performances as the team thrashed Western Kentucky with a final score of 63-0, but two in particular stood out among the rest. Running back Jam Miller and safety Keon Sabb were named the team's Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week by Ali VandenBerghe, Alabama's Director of Football Performance Nutrition.

Miller is poised to take on a more significant role this fall after running for over 200 yards in his first two seasons in Tuscaloosa. He finished the game with five carries for 54 yards and a touchdown, and he complements Justice Haynes greatly.

Meanwhile, Sabb had two interceptions, allowing just three receptions in coverage. The Michigan transfer made his presence felt immediately, and his opportunistic nature on the back end should put him in a prime position to make plays all season.

Both players were critical to the win and will be among the top players on this team all season. Look for Miller and Sabb to continue making big plays this Saturday as Alabama takes on South Florida.
