USC Trojans are gaining traction in the recruiting landscape following their recent win against LSU.

Coach Lincoln Riley and his team are now in the mix for several top high school prospects, thanks to their impressive 27-20 victory over the Tigers in Las Vegas.

One standout is JaReylan McCoy, a 4-star defensive lineman from Tupelo, Mississippi.

He has named USC among his top six schools, which also includes LSU, Oregon, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Oklahoma. McCoy has been in regular contact with the Trojans' coaching staff, who have expressed their belief in his potential to contribute significantly to the team.

"USC is USC. That 'V' doesn't mean 'victory' for no reason," said McCoy to Rivals . "Coach(Eric) Henderson, Coach(Anthony) Jones, Coach(D'Anton) Lynn. They text me every other day sending me messages, checking on me, and sending motivation. That plays a big part in our relationship.

"They think I can be a big part of the team. Even Lincoln Riley texts me every chance he gets to be a part of USC football, and that plays a big role, too. The top guys play at USC, so I feel like a neighborhood how they've offered me. It feels like I've accomplished something being from a small city."

In addition to McCoy, Cardae Mack, a 4-star running back from Atascocita, Texas, has narrowed his choices to ten schools, with USC making the cut.

Mack had an impressive junior season, rushing for 1,370 yards and scoring 18 touchdowns, showcasing his ability to make an impact on the field.

Another prospect, Daylan McCutcheon, a 4-star wide receiver from Lucas Lovejoy, Texas, is set to visit USC on October 12 for their game against Penn State.

Currently committed to Florida State, McCutcheon is exploring his options after the Seminoles' rocky start to the season.

As USC continues its first season in the Big Ten, the team is well-positioned to attract more high-caliber recruits, bolstered by their recent success on the field.
