NBA 2K25 will officially release on Friday. The basketball video game continues to grow in popularity, especially amid the WNBA's exponential growth.

Adding Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark and Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese into this year's game, 2K25 will feature the two star rookies and their respective teams. As is the case every year, there have already been some incredibly contentious debates about player ratings.

Recently announcing that Reese and Clark would each begin this year's game rated 90 overall, 2K faced a lot of backlash from fans on both sides who feel the two players should not be rated the same.

This initial rating was revealed on August 15, and Clark has put together an incredible stretch play since then. Since her NBA 2K25 rating was announced, Clark has averaged 24.0 points, 8.5 assists, and 5.2 rebounds en route to a 6-1 record.

Reacting to this, 2K25 has reportedly bumped Clark to a 91 overall.

It looks like Reese currently remains a 90 overall which breaks the rating tie between her and Clark. The top-two candidates for WNBA Rookie of the Year, Clark and Reese have each put together historic seasons.

Chicago has hit their worst skid of the season, dropping seven-straight games. It has been an opposite situation for the Fever who have won four-straight games to clinch a playoff spot for the first time since 2016.

The Clark vs. Reese debate has been ongoing all year, and for now NBA 2K25 has made their opinion clear.
