Davante Adams Sounds Off on DeSean Jackson, Rumors He's Miserable With Raiders

Las Vegas Raiders star wide receiver Davante Adams has had just about enough of other people speaking for him.

Adams met with media members on Wednesday, September 4, and addressed comments from former NFL wide receiver DeSean Jackson that suggested Adams is unhappy with his situation in Las Vegas.

"At the end of the day, the facts are the facts, and that is not a fact," Adams said, per Paul Gutierrez of ESPN . "I've probably spoken to DeSean Jackson maybe three or four times in my life, and I never had a conversation with him [about this], ever. And I put that on my kids. I've never spoken to him about anything."

Jackson made the comments in question during an August 27 guest appearance on "The Herd With Colin Cowherd." The show asked Jackson -- who played with the Raiders in 2021, the year before the team traded for Adams -- about the topic in the context of Adams' story arc on the Netflix show "Receiver."

Adams exhibited obvious frustrations with the team's struggles, particularly at quarterback, throughout his portrayal on that program.

"I mean, you've got Gardner Minshew that's actually been named the starting quarterback this year. This year is going to be tough," Jackson said. "This one's tough because me and Davante, we've talked and man. I hate to do it. I don't want to be the guy that's like, "Oh, D-Jax said this and said that." But at the end of the day, he is unhappy."

Speaking with reporters Wednesday, Adams made his denial of Jackson's claims as pronounced and concise as possible.

"So once again, whatever you see, if it ain't from the horse's mouth, it's probably bull****," Adams said.
