Indiana Fever's Firm Message on Caitlin Clark's Rookie of the Year Campaign

Caitlin Clark is closing in on one of the best rookie seasons in WNBA history.

In the Indiana Fever's 93-86 victory over the Los Angeles Sparks, Clark notched a WNBA record on three separate occasions.

She became the fastest WNBA player to record 100+ three-pointers made, securing the feat in 34 games. Clark also became the first WNBA player to notch 100+ three-pointers and 200+ assists in a single season.

The last historic feat by Clark was her triple-double. She became the only rookie to record two triple-doubles in a single season, recording 24 points, 10 assists, and 10 rebounds.

After her insane performance, the Indiana Fever posted a picture of Clark with the caption, "Rookie of the Year."

Clark has mainly been competing with Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese for the Rookie of the Year award.

Reese is averaging 13.3 points and 13.2 rebounds per game. She's the only rookie averaging a double-double and leads all rookies in average rebounds.

While the Sky star has been great throughout her rookie season, the Fever firmly believe Caitlin Clark is the Rookie of the Year.

Part of Clark's success has come in a team effort. She's helped the Fever clinch their first WNBA postseason trip since 2016, currently holding an 18-16 record.

Indiana is the hottest team in the WNBA, riding a five-game win streak after their victory over the Sparks.
