Rsaul Douglas may not be the kind of top lockdown corner teams have been clamoring for over the years, but he's as serviceable a starter as they come across the NFL.

It's why the Buffalo Bills made the move to acquire him back during the 2023 trade deadline with the Green Bay Packers.

Douglas has recorded 19 interceptions in his eight-year NFL career to this point with the Philadelphia Eagles, Carolina Panthers, and Packers. With the Bills now, though, the 29-year-old believes even bigger things are on the way for him.

And Buffalo general manager Brandon Beane can't help but agree with him.

"He always had instincts and ball skills, but he was able to do that and play within the scheme," Beane said. "Even the short time we had him, I think he quickly showed he could turn the ball over and he's just got really an instinctual feel. You can’t teach things he’s got. And I thought the coaches did a good job of not worrying. Just give him the fundamentals of a defense. Don't put him in too much complex stuff."

With Tre'Davious White now out in Los Angeles, the Bills are looking for quality starters across the board in the secondary.

They couldn't have found a player better to do that with than Douglas in his ninth season.
