With less-than 24 hours until the Kansas City Chiefs face off against the Baltimore Ravens in the NFL season opener, tight end Travis Kelce is looking forward to the matchup.

In a press conference, Kelce gave props to the Ravens' roster and voiced his excitement to face off against their team in Week 1.

"It's just a great opportunity to be going up against such a great team," said Kelce. "They've got some of the best players in the league on both sides of the ball, and it's going to be a great challenge for us."

Not only will the game be the first of the 2024 season , but it will also be a rematch of last season's AFC Championship, where the Chiefs defeated the Ravens 17-10 in Baltimore before going on to win the Super Bowl in February.

In the AFC Championship, Kelce finished with seven catches for 109 yards and a touchdown. Kelce has faced the Ravens five times in his career, and has totaled 435 yards and two touchdowns in those matchups.

Kelce's excitement is a large contrast in comparison to the Chiefs' season opener a season ago, when he did not play due to a knee injury. Now, however, he is fully healthy and ready to take the field with Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs' offense as they look to win their third-straight Super Bowl.
