Angel Reese's Podcast Segment About Caitlin Clark Says It All

Despite still being in the middle of her WNBA season, Angel Reese debuted her podcast Thursday called Unapologetically Angel .

She talked about many different topics, but her thoughts on her relationship with Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark stood out. Both rookies have been thrown at each other to create animosity and a divide. However, that's not how Reese views Clark at all.

"Caitlin is an amazing player, and I've always thought she was an amazing player. We've been playing together since high school," Reese said.

Reese later talked about the fans and the division that they have tried to create, but both Clark and Reese have been competitors since high school and now are the two most impactful athletes in WNBA history. They have an immense amount of respect for each other.

The two have battled in high school, college, and now the pro's. They have already supplanted themselves as some of the games best in such a short period of time.

Clark is averaging 18.9 points, 8.4 assists, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.4 steals per game, while Reese is averaging 13.3 points, 13.2 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 1.3 steals.

Both have had phenomonal rookie seasons and were awarded all-star nods because of it. Clark has set records as an elite scorer and passer, and Reese has become one of the best rebounders in the league. She has tallied well over 120 rebounds over her last seven games combined.

Nonetheless, it's nice to hear Reese open up about her thoughts on the former Iowa star. There will always be competition, but whatever divide people portray, just isn't there.
