Angel Reese Breaks Silence on Rumors She's Dating Kevin Durant

Chicago Sky star Angel Reese has finally addressed the past rumors claiming that she's dating NBA superstar and 2024 Olympic gold medalist Kevin Durant.

The rumor started before the Paris Olympics began when Reese and Durant were spotted sitting together while watching the exhibition game between Team USA women's basketball and Germany.

It is worth noting, however, that Durant was with Golden State Warriors guard Steph Curry at the time while Reese was also with a friend.

In the debut episode of her "Unapologetically Angel" podcast, Reese talked about the dating rumors with KD and emphasized that it "was never a thing"

"I don't even know how that even became a thing because I sat next to somebody," the Sky forward shared. "My friend was sitting next to Steph. I don't even get that. So, people always... I don't know where that even came from."

Reese proceeded to emphasize her respect and admiration for Durant, whom she said has been her favorite player since she was a child. The WNBA All-Star also highlighted the relationship she has with KD's family, sharing that his mom often supports and watches game in the DMV—District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia—area.

"KD has literally been my favorite player since I was a little kid and is still my favorite player. He's from the DMV. I love his mom. She comes out and supports the games. So, yeah. That was that. I don't even know where that even came from," Reese, who hails from Maryland, stated.

For what it's worth, Angel Reese has been linked with a different NBA player in recent weeks, with many fans convinced she's dating Detroit Pistons center Jalen Duren.

Now that Reese has addressed the Kevin Durant links, though, at least fans can put those rumors to rest.
