The Minnesota Twins are loaded with promising, young talent on their Minor League teams, as Baseball America 's latest top 60 list shows they are the only team with five players mentioned.
Two of the five names are already with the Twins as they received call-ups this season. The others are expected to make their debuts as soon as next season or the season after.
Here's who Baseball America has mentioned and their respective rankings overall:
Walker Jenkins, OF (7th)
Emmanuel Rodriguez, OF (15th)
Brooks Lee, SS (33rd)
Luke Keaschall, 2B (41st)
Zebby Matthews, RHP (60th)
Both Lee and Matthews are with the Twins already. Lee made his MLB debut on July 3 while Matthews took the mound for Minnesota on Aug. 13.
Entering Friday night's game against the Kansas City Royals, Lee is hitting .250/.299/.353 with an OPS of .653, 3 home runs, and 16 RBI in 31 games. He was previously lighting it up in the Triple-A St. Paul before his call-up, slashing a .308/.368/.606 line with an OPS of .974 in 25 games.
Outside of his last start when he gave up 9 runs in two innings of work against the Toronto Blue Jays, Matthews has been a solid option on the mound at a time when the Twins desperately need it. In the three starts outside of the Blue Jays game, Matthews has a 3.00 ERA, giving up 5 earned runs in 15 innings of work while striking out 13 in that time frame.
Jenkins is ranked as MLB's No. 3 overall prospect and could be on track to make his debut in 2026. He's been playing extremely well in the lower levels of the minor leagues since he was drafted by the Twins as the No. 5 overall pick in the 2023 MLB Draft.
Jenkins was just named one of the organization's Minor League Players of the Month.
Rodriguez, 21, is also an intriguing prospect with raw power and excellent plate discipline. He's been dealing with injuries this season but when he's on the field, he's been electric.
Keaschall has been one of the hotter hitters in the Twins' system. He's hit .303 with 15 home runs, 23 steals and a .903 OPS in 102 games this season between High-A and Double-A. He could find his way on the Twins by next year.
Minnesota's farm system has been considered one of the best in baseball.
