If the Golden State Warriors want a veteran end-of-the-bench 3-point shooter, they'll have to look outside Davis Bertans. The eight-year NBA veteran is set to play overseason for the 2024-25 season. Golden State permitted Bertans a future workout for the franchise, hoping to earn a training camp roster spot.

According to NBA insider Marc Stein, Bertans is expected to sign a multi-year deal with Dubai BC with an opt-out clause.

Bertans played 43 games for the 2023-24 season, splitting time between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Charlotte Hornets. The Latvian native converted 38 percent of 3-point shots on 4.7 attempts per game.

While Bertans isn't a volume scorer, he's prone to seeing green lights behind the 3-point line. Bertans showcases fearlessness regarding taking 3-point shots, which indicates his career mark of 39 percent from deep.

As Golden State seeks another veteran presence for its bench, Bertans has a record of producing for playoff teams; most recently, the NBA journeyman played for the Dallas Mavericks in the 2022 playoffs.

The Warriors would beat the Mavs in the Western Conference Finals, ultimately winning the NBA championship.
