Notre Dame RB's Viral Hurdle Over Defender Leads to Highlight-Reel Touchdown

Notre Dame is battling with Northern Illinois in their Week 2 matchup, but they currently hold the lead thanks to an incredible play from running back Jeremiyah Love.

Love enjoyed a strong start to the season in Week 1 against Texas A&M, as he racked up 91 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries to help the Fighting Irish kick off the 2024 campaign with a victory.

Against the Huskies, Love has once again been leading the way. With Notre Dame attempting to fight off a massive upset loss, Love decided to take matters into his own hands, as he pulled off an incredible hurdle on his way to a 34-yard touchdown run that gave his team a 14-13 lead.

This is a wild play from Love, as he not only successfully sticks the landing on his hurdle, but also manages to avoid another pair of tacklers along the way.

It's encouraging to see Love producing at such a high level despite Notre Dame's offensive struggles, which certainly bodes well for them as the season goes on.

For now, though, Love and company will be intent on putting away Northern Illinois and avoid suffering a potentially catastrophic loss in Week 2.
