WNBA Rookie Angel Reese Listed on Chicago Sky Injury Report

Following a 92-78 victory for the Chicago Sky over the Los Angeles Sparks on Friday, Angel Reese was listed on the latest injury report.

Reese ended the matchup with 24 points, 12 rebounds and two assists. She played one of her most efficient games of the season, shooting 60% from the field in the victory.

Despite Reese finishing the game for the Sky, her name was posted on the injury report on Saturday. She's listed as "questionable" for Chicago's game against the Dallas Wings on Sunday.

This may be a major blow for the Sky, who are currently racing against the clock to make their final WNBA playoff push.

Prior to their victory over the Sparks on Friday, Reese and the Sky were riding a seven-game losing streak. They've lost eight of their last 10 games.

Chicago is on the final leg of the WNBA season. It has six games remaining and currently stands as the No. 8 seed in the WNBA standings. Every game counts for Chicago since the Atlanta Dream are barely trailing the Sky.

Atlanta is the No. 9 seed in the league with the same 12-22 record as Chicago.

Reese has been the most consistent player for the Sky all season. She's started in every game for Chicago and leads the team in average rebounds.

The rookie is currently averaging 13.6 points and 13.1 rebounds. Reese doesn't just lead the Sky in average boards; the 6-foot-3 forward is leading the WNBA in average rebounds at just 22 years old.

Reese's final availability is unknown, but that will be major news to monitor, given the Sky's push for a playoff opportunity.
