The Las Vegas Aces notched their fourth straight victory on Sept. 6 after beating the Connecticut Sun, 72-67, continuing their strong push for homecourt advantage in the playoffs.

The duo of Kelsey Plum and A'ja Wilson powered the Aces anew with 27 and 20 points, respectively. They improved to 22-12 and remained in fourth place in the standings.

After the game, Plum was asked about how spectacular Wilson has been for the Aces, and the All-Star guard was more than generous with her praise.

"She's just a light," Plum said in the game's broadcast. "Just the type of human being she is. We really need to cherish what's happening live.

"I mean, unanimous MVP, but unanimous MVP as a human being. So, I think for us, we gotta celebrate legends as they play."

The Aces posted Plum's comment on Instagram, which Wilson posted on her Instagram Story, giving love back to her teammate.

"My dawg," wrote the two-time MVP in the caption.

With her scoring output against the Sun, Wilson only needs 10 points to set a new single-season WNBA scoring record, which is currently held by Seattle Storm guard Jewell Loyd, who tallied 939 markers last season.

She's a heavy contender to win her third MVP plum with her league-bests 27.3 points and 2.7 blocks on top of 11.9 rebounds per game.

Plum, meanwhile, is putting up 17.9 points, 2.4 rebounds and 4.3 assists per outing.

The Aces, who are 6-4 in their last 10 games, will next face the league-leading New York Liberty on Sunday.
