Dyllan Thompson is the son of Tina Thompson, the WNBA's second all-time leading scorer and University of Southern California alumnus.

Dyllan Thompson is also a Class of 2024 wing who became the fifth recruit in his class to commit to Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Coach Damon Stoudamire's program.

Thompson is the son of former Seattle Storm forward Tina Thompson, the WNBA's second all-time leading scorer behind current Phoenix Mercury guard Diana Taurasi.

Tina Thompson scored 7,488 points in her WNBA career, a far cry from Taurasi's current mark of 10,368 points, but still quite impressive.

Her son Dyllan has demonstrated great scoring ability and post defense at the high school level which could serve him well in college with the Yellow Jackets in the ACC Conference.
