An Atlantic City mother and son were cooking up something inside their Indiana Avenue home, police said.

Tamyia Belle and her son Jasmehir allegedly had more than 180 assorted edibles, including Lifesaver-type candies, Rice Krispy treats, brownies and lollipops.

The mother and son also had four firearms throughout their home, which police entered with warrant Wednesday.

One of the guns was a so-called ghost gun and another had been reported stolen from Egg Harbor Township, Capt. Kevin Fair said.

Jasmehir Belle, 24, was outside the home on an electric scooter when Vice Unit detectives stopped him in the area of Indiana and Hummock avenues, according to the affidavit of probable cause obtained by BreakingAC.

He had a car key-style digital scale, colorful wrapping containing about 17 grams of suspected marijuana, $50 in cash and an iPhone that was seized pending investigation, the affidavit states.

Inside the home police found two handguns inside an Oreo cookie snack box in the sunroom, and another gun inside a black fanny pack in Jasmehir Belle's room. A fourth gun was found wrapped in a red bandana inside a safe under Tamyia Belle's bed, the affidavit states.

Four glass olive oil bottles labeled "The joi of edibles" allegedly contained a total of three pounds and 12 ounces of THC liquid.

There were 51 lollipops, 116 multi-colored "Lifesaver-style" candies and more than 10 pounds of baked goods all believed to contain THC.

There was also a baggie containing 35 grams of a leafy green vegetation believed to be marijuana.

Jasmehir Belle was charged with three of the guns, including receiving stolen property for the one taken from Egg Harbor Township. He also allegedly had an extended magazine.

Tamyia Belle, 46, was charged with possession of a weapon while committing a drug offense.

Mother and son also face various drug charges.

Both are in the Atlantic County Justice Facility.

Tamyia Belle also has an outstanding case involving failure to provide care for another son's dog who was found to have suffered from a prolapsed vagina and anus for a month without getting any care.

"Iceland" had to be euthanized as a result.
