An Atlantic City man and two juveniles are charged in string of vehicle burglaries where credit cards were taken in Ventnor last month.

Police received several reports of burglaries June 14, 2024, with multiple credit cards stolen, Lt. David Gaeckle said.

A follow-up investigation by Ventnor Detective Sgt. Kevin Brady found that the stolen cards were used at various local businesses, according to the report.

Brady with help from Atlantic City police used surveillance footage to identify three suspects, Gaeckle said.

Ra-Quan H. Harris, 21, was charged along with a 17-year-old from Galloway Township and a 16-year-old from Atlantic City, Gaeckle said.

They each face four counts of burglary, 16 counts of theft, six count of possession of a stolen credit card, two counts of criminal attempt and at least a dozen counts of conspiracy.

Harris additionally faces two counts of employing a juvenile in the commission of a crime.

Police Chief Joseph Fussner credited the charges to the hard work and dedication of the Detective Bureau and Brady.

“The sheer number of criminal counts against these three individuals speaks volumes to the lengths our men and women will work to investigate these cases," he said.

Ventnor police remind the public to remove all valuables and secure their vehicles, especially overnight. Residents should report any suspicious activity.
