Shooting injures five teens during Pontiac party
Five teen boys were hurt in a shooting on Pontiac’s south side early Friday morning. Injuries to the three 14-year old boys and two 15-year-old boys are not believed to be life threatening according to Oakland County Sheriff’s officials. Four of the boys are from Pontiac. Final Rochester Hills splash pad shooting survivor released from hospital
The last person hospitalized after being shot on June 15 at the Brooklands Plaza splash pad is home again. Oakland County Sheriff’s officials shared the news late Friday. The 39-year-old Rochester Hills mother was reunited with her family after suffering serious injuries trying to protect her children from the gunman. She was shot multiple times. Her 8-year-old son, shot in the head, was released on June 28 and her 4-year-old-son, also injured, was released earlier. Six other adults were injured in the shooting. None of the shooting survivors are being identified by police.
