Editor's note: This story has been updated to show that Brenna Swindell has been found.

The 29-year-old daughter of former Major League Baseball player Greg Swindell has been found after she was reported missing Thursday.

Brenna Swindell is a mother of three and was missing from the Austin area since Thursday, her mother, Sarah Swindell, said in a Facebook post . Her father, Greg Swindell, pitched for the University of Texas and had a 17-year MLB career.

Brenna Swindell was found "alive and well" with her ex-boyfriend, Morgan Guidry, who was arrested on a warrant from the Travis County sheriff's office and is in custody, sheriff's office spokesperson Kristen Dark said in a news release Tuesday morning.

"She has been found," Greg Swindell said in a post on the social platform X Tuesday morning. "That’s all we have for now. Thank you to everyone. And I mean everyone who helped in the process."

Swindell's vehicle last seen in Colorado

According to Austin police, Brenna Swindell and Guidry were last seen together about 10:20 p.m. Thursday at Poodies Hilltop Roadhouse in Spicewood. Law enforcement tracked her white 2022 Kia Carnival to Colorado by Friday evening.

Guidry and her van might have been sighted in Colorado Springs, according to a flyer shared by the organization Missing People in America.

Arrest affidavit filed for Morgan Guidry a day after disappearance

An affidavit for an arrest warrant filed Friday, a day after Brenna Swindell's disappearance, states that Guidry strangled his girlfriend multiple times and slammed her head onto the floor at an apartment complex July 7.

The victim was not named in the affidavit, but Dark confirmed to the American-Statesman that she was Brenna Swindell.

Dark said the affidavit was filed more than a month after the incident because Brenna Swindell had decided on Aug. 20 to press charges against Guidry.

The woman suffered numerous injuries, including to her clavicle, head, neck and hand. She told deputies that she threw a box of ammunition on the ground and ran to an exit while Guidry grabbed a rifle, the affidavit says. She told deputies she believed Guidry would kill her.

When authorities responded to the apartment, Guidry had left with his rifle, but they found the loose ammunition on the ground, the affidavit says.
